In celebration of National Cheesecake Day on July 30, Royal Cheesecake & Varieties (RCV), the beloved local dessert shop known for bold flavor mashups, is launching a new limited-edition creation: the Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake Cake.

Inspired by the richness and elegance of Dubai, this dessert blends deep chocolate cake, a layer of creamy pistachio cheesecake, kaydafi and a luxurious ganache drizzle — available only July 30 from 12-5pm at their Raleigh storefront. There will be other classic cheesecake flavors available as well.

RCVcakes is known for seasonal flavors like blueberry, peach, and key lime cheesecakes, not to mention cupcakes, poundcake, cookies and even some vegan options! Their famous “Chicken and Waffles Cheesecake” was featured on ABC11 News in 2017 and their “Cake Batter Cheesecake”, “White Chocolate Chile Peppermint Cheesecake” and “Maple Bacon Cheesecake” were featured on MyCarolina CBS in 2022, 2023 and 2024 respectively.

Husband and wife team, Ken and Tamara Williams, have been baking for over 20 years. Together, they created Royal Cheesecake and Varieties in 2013, which began as a kiosk in the Northgate Mall. They had a small storefront in Durham before opening a food truck and a location in Raleigh. You can also find their creations at various festivals and events on their dessert truck. Royal Cheesecakes & Varieties’ pop-up shop is open Fri. 3-6pm; and Sat 11am-3pm.
